Memorial Church Choir

All are welcome to this Service of Advent and Christmas readings and music, based on the famous Lessons and Carols Service held annually at King's College, Cambridge. Festive music will be sung by the Memorial Church Choir and the Stanford Chamber Chorale.

Robert Huw Morgan

Fellow, Royal College of Organists. Studied with Carole Terry, Peter Eros, Melvin Butler, Nicolas Kynaston, Nigel Allcoat. Special interests: 19th- and 20th-century repertoire, especially French. Assistant Conductor, U. Washington Symphony Orchestra/Opera; Conductor, U. Washington Summer Chamber Orchestra. Recitals in U.S., Germany, Wales, Australia, Norway, Sweden, England.

Robert Huw Morgan conducts The Creation by Franz Joseph Haydn in this collaboration of two of Stanford's choral ensembles, joined by featured soloists Claire Kelm, soprano; Corey Head, tenor; and Jeffrey Fields, bass.
