Christina Galisatus: Senior Jazz Piano Recital

Christina Galisatus is studying music with a concentration in piano performance and minors in symbolic systems and data science. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Christina was classically trained in piano and French horn. Throughout her time at Stanford, Christina has been a member of the Stanford Jazz Orchestra, the Stanford Jazz Combo program, and the Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble. She has also played French horn in the Stanford Symphony Orchestra and the Stanford Philharmonia Orchestra. Her recital program includes her own compositions as well as a Greek folk song and an American standard. She will be accompanied by a rhythm section, brass, and winds.
