Student Crew
Student crew assists in presenting concerts and running crew for events in Dinkelspiel Auditorium, Campbell Recital Hall, and Bing Concert Hall. Duties may include moving large objects (pianos, sound shells, risers, etc), setting up and operating recording equipment, focusing and running lighting equipment, set changes, and other backstage work. You should be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Hours: Variable, mostly nights and weekends
- Pay Scale starts at $18/hr
Ushers
Volunteer Ushers are a vital part of the Department of Music's ticketed events.
Usher duties include the following:
- Collecting tickets
- Handing out programs
- Counting attendance
- Picking up discarded programs for recycling
The time involved in ushering is generally 1 hour in addition to the length of the concert, comprised of arriving 45 minutes prior to the concert start and staying approximately 15 minutes after its conclusion.
Ushers receive free admission to the events that they work at.
