The winners of the 2020 Stanford Concerto Competition are Addison Jadwin and Ethan Chi. The Concerto Competition winners will perform as featured soloists with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra during the next academic year. Addison is a violist who will perform the Walton Viola Concerto with SSO this spring. Ethan is a pianist (as well as an organist and a violinist in SSO); he will perform the Grieg Piano Concerto with SSO in Fall 2020.

Congratulations to the winners and much appreciation to all 15 entrants in this year's competition! Thanks also to the Concerto Competition judges, Robin Sutherland and Roy Malan, all the performance faculty, collaborative pianists, and supporting musicians involved in this year's competition, and to Adriana Ramirez Mirabal for helping it run so smoothly.
