Creator of the ChucK programming language; founding director of the Stanford Laptop Orchestra (SLOrk); co-founder of mobile music company Smule; designer of the iPhone's Ocarina and Magic Piano; 2016 Guggenheim Fellow; author of Artful Design: Technology in Search of the Sublimea book about technology, art, and design for human flourishing.
