Alexandra Hawley

Studied with Murray Panitz, Jean-Pierre Rampal. Founding member of the Stanford Woodwind Quintet. Founder and musical director of Avedis, a San Francisco chamber music series for 35 years. Performed and recorded with Jean-Pierre Rampal. Has recorded for the Naxos and Cambria labels. Toured USSR as delegate for the National Flute Association and has been invited to perform at their Conventions in Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Kansas City, and Las Vegas. Has performed throughout the U.S. as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.
