Alexander Tae Won Han

Alex Han is a musician and researcher in the PhD program at Stanford University's Center for Computer Research in Music & Acoustics (CCRMA). He received his Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Brown University in 2017, and his Master's degree in Music, Science, & Technology from Stanford University in 2024. His research areas include music cognition, human-computer interaction, and audiovisual design. These interests often include a focus in understanding and modeling improvisatory behavior, and building software tools aimed at augmenting and enriching expressive capabilities in improvised music.
