Stanford Vocal Students & Alumni Represent at SFBAC NATS

The San Francisco Bay Area National Association of Teachers of Singing (SFBAC NATS) held their classical auditions over the weekend and  three current Stanford students and two alumni from the vocal program participated, each placing in the top levels of their respective categories. The competition was held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at California State University, East Bay, in Hayward. 

Join us in congratulating the following students and alumni:
 

• Dennis Xu (sophomore,  student of Benjamin Liupaogo) – 1st place in the Lower College & Independent Studio Men’s category
• Mack Smith (senior, student of Kathryne Jennings) – 1st place in the Upper College & Independent Studio Men’s category
  • Additionally, Mack Smith received the overall Collegiate Award during the evening’s finalist concert!
• Sidharth Srinivasan (senior, student of Kathryne Jennings) – 3rd place in the Upper College & Independent Studio Men’s category
   
• Enguerrand Horel (adult, student of Kathryne Jennings) – 2nd place in the Advanced Men’s category
• Jason Zhu (adult, student of Kathryne Jennings) – Honorable Mention in the Advanced Men’s category
