Musicologist Charles Kronengold reflects on Aretha Franklin

Stanford Report features a discussion with Department of Music faculty Charles Kronengold about Aretha Franklin’s influence on pop culture, and how she will be remembered by generations to come. Kronengold has been writing about Franklin for his forthcoming book, Crediting Thinking in Soul and Dance Music.
