Duruflé Requiem program from Memorial Church released

Just released today, this new audio release featuring works by Duruflé is full of Stanford music faculty and students: Stanford Chamber Chorale and their director Stephen M. Sano, University Organist Robert Huw Morgan, and the St. Lawrence String Quartet (our Ensemble-in-Residence). Additional performers for this program included soloists Mindy Ella Chu, mezzo-soprano, and Nikolas Nackley, baritone, as well as the Omer Quartet. Along with Duruflé’s elegant and evocative Requiem on the program were his a cappella choral works, Quatre Motets sur des thèmes grégoriens and Notre Père. 

This program was first presented live in Memorial Church in February 2019 and then recorded there not long after the public concert.
