About this event

The program features sonatas written across three centuries: Beethoven's final violin sonata, Frank Bridge's WWI-era cello sonata, and living composer Blaine Rister's "Mila" violin sonata (world premiere). Pianist Kevin Lee Sun, a Stanford medical student with a Master of Music degree from SFCM, collaborates with cellist Evan Kim '21 and violinists Andrew Chang '19 and Kaili Wang '22.

The program is coached by faculty Christopher Costanza, Robin Sharp, and Thomas Schultz.
