Stanford Summer Chorus: A Matter of Life and Death

The Stanford Summer Chorus, directed by Rafael Ornes, is a non-auditioned community chorus sponsored by the Stanford Department of Music. Membership is open to everyone; singers typically come from all corners of the Bay Area, and from all age groups and ability levels.

This year's program, "A Matter of Life and Death," will feature Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living (2013) and other choral works by Beethoven, Dello Joio, and Tin that touch on similar themes, along with pieces for small ensemble.
