A recent St. Lawrence String Quartet marathon performance of all six Haydn String Quartets Op. 20 was hailed as “in-your-face exhilarating” by the Los Angeles Times. Join the SLSQ for the second of Haydn’s six Op. 20s, along with Henri Duparc’s Three Songs performed by tenor Paul Groves and pianist Stephen Prutsman, and Mozart’s Piano Quartet No. 1, the first major work composed for piano quartet in the chamber music repertoire, featuring Danish Quartet violinist Frederik Øland, violist Maria Lambros, cellist Michael Kannen, and pianist Pedja Muzijevic.
