CCRMA presents SYRNX

This concert is free and open for in-person attendance to Stanford affiliates only. Please register here with your Stanford email address. Any registration with a non-Stanford email address will be discarded. Each guest must bring their Stanford ID card to tap it at the front door, and wear a mask at all times while inside the building.

This performance will also be livestreamed at CCRMA Live. 

"The person who does SYRNX plays in some other groups too, but Syrnx has been happening mostly solo for fifteen years, occasionally with a subdued helper. (Ezra Buchla has been one. Maybe we were both at his solo show at CCRMA some years ago.) Very often a few pieces of a drum kit without quite enough stands, and partially periodic electronics continue to be together in a memory of more usual and past favorite music. Rock music, or hardcore, or carnatic. A not very exact memory! Lately I've been thinking about rainbows and for this concert I asked a new helper to come, but not sure if they say yes yet." — Syrnx
