About this event

Barbara Nerness presents her interactive installation Doublevision, a video installation that turns audio and movement into visuals. The visuals are created using only audio signals by exploiting old CRT television technology. The work aims to remove the boundary between audio and video as physical media, and highlight the perceptual distinction. Ambient sounds and movements affect the visuals in real time, hence the name Doublevision

This is the first in a series of works to be displayed on the CCRMA WAVE: Wall for AudioVisual Expression, located in the CCRMA lobby. In this space, CCRMA will showcase audiovisual works by in-house and external artists. The Doublevision installation will run until January 27th.
