The 2020 St. Lawrence String Quartet Summer Chamber Music ZOOM-inar! - JackTrip demo

In the two decades of our Summer Seminar and three decades of the SLSQ, we have never had a year quite like this one, and we know that goes for everyone reading this as well. Although we cannot gather for the usual ten days of music making on the Stanford campus, we are holding a handful of online events to mark what would have been this year's Seminar.

For this session, we'll fire up Zoom with Chris Chafe, director of the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford, and Jonathan Berger, professor of composition, music theory, and cognition at CCRMA. They'll take us through a demo of JackTrip, cutting edge technology that allows for remote musical collaborations - something that's been on our minds recently!
