Audio: Sam Silverman

When writing Cloud 9, I hoped to create a piece evocative of an altered state of mind; a feeling of euphoria and bliss that simultaneously hints at twangs of darkness. Cloud 9 draws influences from R&B, jazz harmony, Classical conventions, and Renaissance contrapuntal practices in order to create a rich tapestry of sound and texture.
