Stopgap is loosely inspired by my experience in theater, weaving in and out of the periods of bliss and outright stress inherent in each production. It begins with us walking through life as usual — a little happy-go-lucky, a bit of the same-old-same-old. We hit the stressful part of the production, leading to a slower, sadder version of the initial theme. We begin to question why we should waste our time on trouble-ridden, temporal artform, but before we can dwell on this too long, another production sweeps us out of our funk — nothing is resolved, but the distraction is welcome. — Dan Holland
