CS+Music is part of a university-wide program bridging the Computer Science program with various Humanities programs.
CS+Music offers our students the opportunity to integrate their interests in music with those in computer science, providing breadth of study while maintaining disciplinary depth.
Synergies between research and teaching objectives in the Departments of Music and Computer Science include but are not limited to:
- Software design
- Human-computer interaction
- Social-mobile computing
- Computing and the arts
- Data visualization and sonification
- Computational analysis of music and other digital humanities foci
