Auditions for music lessons and departmental ensembles are held the first week of Autumn Quarter; in subsequent terms sign-up sheets are in Braun 102 on the first day of the term (not the first day of classes). For September 2007, audition sign-ups will be held Thursday and Friday September 20 & 21 and Monday and Tuesday September 24 & 25. For more specific information on audition times and places, please come by the Braun Music Center courtyard beginning September 20th.

During the remainder of the year, contact the faculty member in charge of the ensemble for audition information and ensemble openings. Prospective students must demonstrate, by audition with the appropriate teacher, a minimum proficiency on their instrument to enroll in private instruction.

• 270-level courses are for advanced students.
• Weekly lessons are given throughout the academic quarter.
• Private instruction carries a $400 per quarter fee, for which financial assistance is available; contact the main office for more information.
